Hong Choo Pte Ltd, established in 2000, is the brainchild of Mr. Kam Thian Teng and his daughter, Ms. Agnes Kam. Located in the East of Singapore, the family business specialises in food catering services such as buffets and Tingkat meals, which are suitable for various events,
including weddings, birthday parties, church gatherings and more. Their scrumptious meals are prepared using top quality ingredients with minimal salt, sugar and oil.
On top of that, they strongly discourage the use of MSG in their foods. As the founder of Hong Choo, Thian Teng expressed that he had always held a strong interest in cooking, observing and often experimenting with new recipes. Thian Teng started off humbly with a mixed vegetable rice stall at a local coffee house before delving into the food catering industry and eventually, with the help of his daughter, made the big leap to begin his own food distribution business.
In the coming years, both Agnes and Thian Teng intend to expand their business by introducing halal dishes so that they can also cater to Muslim clients here.
